My husband works A-LOT in the summer time. Days off are hard to come by, and when he does have them we have a mile long list of things we need to get done. But this past weekend we ignored all of those nagging responsibilities of adulting, jumped in the suburban and headed to Talkeetna for the day. Lunch at Latitude 62 was amazing. They make an awesome burger and we tried the Kenai Brewing Company's IPA. It was "life" as my 7 year old niece would say. Then we walked through town checking out all the local shops and sampled the homemade ice-cream. After a wonderful day of exploring we headed back to Palmer, but not without grabbing a peanut butter milk shake from Little Miller's on the way. I love days like this.
